Dana was driven by a vision: to create an inclusive platform where education knows no bounds. In a world where education has big cost, not to mention the expenses tied to attending classes in person, she embarked on a mission. Along the way, she observed how major brands maintained a firm grip on education, limiting its reach and access. Her ambition? To establish an unbranded digital haven where we could all communicate using the universal language of hair – a fusion of geometry and chemistry.
The inception of Disbeaute was spurred by the need to regain control over the financial aspects of the content we generate. In an age where invaluable educational content was being freely handed over to social platforms not fit for our industry, she recognized the urgency of redirecting these resources to empower artists and creators, rather than swelling the pockets of corporate giants.
